PRAYER TEACHING:

“He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted”

In His hometown synagogue on Shabbat, Yeshua, at thebeginning of His ministry, read the ancient scroll of Isaiah.

The first words out of His mouth were:

“The Spirit of Adonai Elohim is upon me, becauseA donai has anointed me to announce good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted;”

Yeshua is in the business of healing broken hearts today. At times we get so overwhelmed with a broken heart that it can be difficult to pray on a regular basis. I believe the Lord wants us to know that He is with us and He has come to heal our broken hearts if we just come to Him. We can come with tears, with words, with travail; it is all a prayer to Him.

After we share our brokenness, let us get in a spiritual position of receiving His supernatural healing. He wants to deliver, comfort, heal, and restore us. It may take place in a moment; it may be a process over time; however, let us be convinced of His Word and receive it with trust and faith. Be encouraged today as you continue your relationship with the Lord in prayer.
